Transit New Zealand, along with the Christchurch City Council and Environment Canterbury, is considering measures that will help improve bus journey time reliability in Christchurch.

A measure identified to help achieve this journey time reliability is being considered on Travis Road/ Bassett Street.

The measure proposed is designed to reduce delays for buses turning right, from Bassett Street into Travis Road. It would prevent eastbound traffic turning right, into Bassett Street.
