General Alert:
There are major alterations at Korokoro Intersection.  Take care, and follow the signs for directions to and from Korokoro, Petone and SH2.

Thursday 17 July

  • 9.00am – 6.00pm: Southbound lane closure from Maungaraki to Petone Overbridge for stormwater system installation and bridge construction.
  • 8.00am – 3.00pm: Northbound lane from Cornish Street to Priests Ave for installation of underground services.
  • 9.00am – 4.00pm: Southbound shoulder closures, speed restrictions, and reduced car parking on Hutt Road from Beaumont Ave to Wakefield St for property modifications and stormwater installation.

Friday 18 July

  • 9.00am – 6.00pm: Southbound lane closure from Maungaraki to Petone Overbridge for stormwater system installation and bridge construction.
  • 9.00am – 4.00pm: Southbound shoulder closures, speed restrictions, and reduced car parking on Hutt Road from Beaumont Ave to Wakefield St for property modifications.

  • 8.00am – 3.00pm: Northbound lane closure at Korokoro for traffic signal modification.
  • 9.00am – 6.00pm: Southbound lane closure from Maungaraki to Petone Overbridge for stormwater system installation and bridge construction.
  • 9.00am – 4.00pm: Southbound shoulder closures, speed restrictions, and reduced car parking on Hutt Road from Beaumont Ave to Wakefield St for property modifications.

Wednesday 23 July

  • 11.00am – 2.00pm: Traffic signals at Korokoro switched off for signal modification.  Manual traffic control in place alongside a lane closure and speed restriction to 30km.
  • 8.00am – 3.00pm: Northbound lane closure at Korokoro for traffic signal modification.
  • 9.00am – 6.00pm: Southbound lane closure from Maungaraki to Petone Overbridge for bridge construction, traffic signal modification, and stormwater installation.
  • 9.00am – 4.00pm: Southbound shoulder closures, speed restrictions, and reduced car parking on Hutt Road from Beaumont Ave to Wakefield St for property modifications.

Thursday 24 July

  • 9.00am – 7.00pm: Southbound lane closure from Maungaraki to Petone Overbridge for installation of underground services, installation of stormwater system, and bridge construction
  • 8.00am – 4.00pm: Northbound lane closure from Petone Overbridge to Maungaraki for installation of underground services, installation of stormwater system, and bridge construction
  • 9.00am – 7.00pm: Shoulder closures, speed restrictions, and reduced car parking on Hutt Road from Beaumont Ave to Wakefield St for property modifications and crane set up.
  • 7.00pm – 6.00am Friday: Hutt Road closed for bridge beam lift.  Detour via Wakefield St and Beamount Ave.
  • 7.00pm – 6.00am Friday: Northbound rolling blocks along SH2 from Ngaraunga Interchange to Hutt Road to allow safe transport of bridge beams. 

Friday 25 July

  • 9.00am – 7.00pm: Southbound lane closure from Maungaraki to Petone Overbridge for installation of underground services, installation of stormwater system, and bridge construction
