The Transit State Highway Network
Transit proactively manages the performance of its major asset - the 10,894 km of State Highway pavements and surfacings.
Network Changes
When a new section of state highway is added, removed or modified Transit updates a central network model.
The following lists changes to either the physical road alignment or the linear references for sections of highway.
The list is intended to assist Transit's suppliers or other organisations who need to update a roading model which includes state highways.
Documents provided typically include a Network Update Form containing sketches of the change to the network, and updated reference station diagrams.
The majority of these changes represent realignments, but can also be new roads or revocations of existing roads.
