The NZ Transport Agency has been engaging with the community to receive feedback on the preferred route through Transmission Gully. The consultation period on the preferred route through Transmission Gully, which officially ended on 20 August 2008, resulted in a total of 2411 responses received with 2137 (88.6%) supporting, 103 (4.3%) didn’t mind, and 171 (7.1%) opposing.
