SH 35 Tokomaru Bay To Mata RoadRoad ClosedDrop Out: Sh 35 Is Closed Between Tokomaru Bay And Mata Road As A Result Of Road Subsidence On Busby's Hill. An Alternative Route Is Available For Light Traffic (two Axles) Only. It Is Well Signposted And Runs Via Mata Road, Tuakau Road And Ihungia Road. The Bypass Route Is Very Narrow And Unsealed Over Most Of Its Length, And Motorists Should Allow Up To One Hour Additional Travel Time For Their Journey. It Is Signposted For 50km/hr Travel And Motorists Are Advised To Adhere To This Speed. The Bypass Is Not Suitable For Heavy Vehicles Or Overdimension Loads. Gisborne: Heavy Rain Is Expected About The Ranges And Coastal Hills. Expect 150 To 200mm Of Rain. Hawkes Bay: Expect 100 To 150mm Of Rain Near The Ranges. Heaviest Falls Are Likely To Be North Of Mohaka.
Coromandel & Hauraki Areas - Motorists Advised To Watch For Flooding And/or Fallen Trees.
