PROMAN is NZ Transport Agency Project & Programme Managment system. The aim of this page is to provide easy access for both our internal and external users to news, induction material, training documentation (FAQs, How To documents and process charts) and the key dates for the month ahead.



What is PROMAN & PADS


  • PROMAN is NZ Transport Agency Project & Programme Management system
  • PADS is the Property Acquisitions and Disposals system, which is a sub system of PROMAN

The above systems have been developed to support NZ Transport Agency processes

PROMAN Release 4 Schedule D

PROMAN Release 4 Schedule D includes:

  • Spatial coordinate fields (next to SH, RS, RP fields in the Project Tab). These are to be used by the Spatial Viewer system.
  • Review Feedback fields – so that users do not have to wait for the feedback reports. The SHPRC will fill these in during the reviews.
  • Zone (N.Ops) and Division flags, so that we can report by these groups
  • Opening up of Maintenance Work Units Target and Achievement Lengths.
  • Change of delegations within the Maintenance Work Category Review. Delegate to Zone Manager level.
  • Inclusion of work unit cost share indicator. This will enable the Project Manager to input forecasts against cost share jobs.
  • Show the Project number field. This will align with the Project number in LTP online.
  • Inclusion of field trackers (date and name) so that we can build Usage reports for Users PROMAN related KPIs.

The annual detailed PROMAN Schedule can be obtained from the PROMAN Team.

The PROMAN cycle is as attached. This monthly cycle contains indicative dates. However, the key dates for the month ahead are detailed below
